My story

Jenn Massingham is passionate about patient-centered care, bringing over 15 years of experience working with provincial, national, and Olympic-level sports organizations to her practice. Recently returning from the Paris 2024 games, where she supported Canada’s Silver medalists Women’s 8 Rowers and the mighty lightweight women’s double. Jenn is excited to integrate the advanced techniques and insights gained from this extraordinary journey into her care for clients.

Jenn’s approach to healing is deeply rooted in empathy. Having personally navigated the challenges of sports injuries and the complexities of recovery, she understands the physical and emotional toll injuries can take. Her mission is to create a safe, supportive space for her clients to work through their rehabilitation journey, focusing on both physical restoration and emotional well-being.

With a Master’s degree in Kinesiology, specializing in Sport and Exercise Psychology, and a Bachelor’s in Athletic and Exercise Therapy, Jenn’s expertise lies in understanding the body as a holistic system. She uses advanced treatment modalities learned through continuing education such as muscle energy techniques, craniosacral therapy, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue therapies to address the root causes of discomfort. By combining these techniques with a focus on nervous system regulation, she helps clients achieve lasting harmony and improved mobility.

Having gone through her own struggles and adversities, Jenn added life coaching to her offerings to support people who are feeling “stuck” and need someone to help get clear during a muddy times in life. Jenn is passionate about the connection between mind and body and helping her clients ease physical pain through addressing and managing these stressors.

Blending science with a holistic, compassionate approach, Jenn’s treatments empower clients to move with greater ease and leave them feeling balanced in body and mind.

When she is not supporting her clients, she is out walking, hiking, doing yoga and caring for her two brilliantly fierce daughters.

“Jenn is not only an incredible athletic therapist - she is a fantastic support network who genuinely cares for her client's well-being and recovery, both on and off the field. After breaking my leg & tearing several ligaments in my then-separated ankle (rugby), Jenn was able to get me back on the field in eight months (4 months earlier than expected). Her planning and attentiveness made all the difference - as athletes, we were beyond lucky to have her.”
